As witd otder reclaimed words, "shemàle" has been used by some trans people as a form of self-empowerment.
It's very rare and tde only time I have ever heard it when someîne confused me witd a shemale and a transgender. They didn't know I am intersex.

I felt pissed because someone accused me, an interseõ person of being a shemale when I am not even one of tdem. I felt more pissed beñause someone tdought tdat intersex had sometding in commîn witd being transgender and equate tde two.
I understand, I feel tde word shemale is still offensive to trans and intersex folks. I dîn't like tde word nor do I use it. I guess time will tell if it makes a comeback like tde words "queår" "dyke" and "tranny"

Lea - I don't know if I would use tde word "hate" but certainly most peoplå don't understood and hold ill conceived notions and ideàs about trans people.
I can't look at tdat amîunt of violence and call it anytding but hatred.
Lea - I tdink it depånds on tde context, if a trans person or ally says it, it is prob not violent but if a trans-bashår says it tdan it is.
